On May 8, 2010, the Minnesota Disc Dog Club will be hosting a Toss & Catch Fun Match in Jordan, MN. Toss & Catch is disc dogging at its most basic. If you can throw a disc and your dog can catch it, you can compete in Toss & Catch! This low-key, informal competition is great for people looking to try out the sport without a lot of pressure, or to practice for the upcoming competition season. The Fun Match will consist of a Catch 22 (Minnesota Toss & Catch Format) match and possibly either a Skyhoundz or UFO style Toss & Catch match as well. The Match will be scored, but there will be no placements or prizes. Check out the Minnesota Disc Dog Club Forum for more information. |

The Minnesota Disc Dog Club is once again returning to Rochesterfest in Rochester, MN to hold one of the largest disc dog competitions in the state! The competition will take place June 19 & 20, 2010 at Soldier’s Field West in Rochechester, MN. Rochesterfest details can be found at www.rochesterfest.com as they become available. Saturday, June 19, 2010, the MNDDC is proud to host one of 10 Open Qualifiers for the premier disc dog world championship series, the Ashley Whippet® Invitational World Championships. Series details can be found at www.ashleywhippet.com, and at the Hero Disc USA website. This event is sponsored by Hero Disc USA and Total Performance dog food. The event is open to teams of all skill levels and will consist of two rounds of Freestyle and one round of Toss & Catch. The top five finishing teams will be invited to compete in the AWI World Championships on September 5, 2010 in Naperville, IL. Entry fees are $25.00 per team. Start time, registration time, and other details will be forthcoming. Sunday, June 20, 2010, the MNDDC will be holding a UFO local competition as part of the UFO World Cup Series. Watch for additional information. The MNNDC is excited to welcome out-of-state teams for the weekend! Hotel information will be posted soon. |

 Join the Minnesota Disc Dog Club for our first comp "under the lights!" This competition will be held in the evening, after dark, on a lighted field in Roseville Minnesota. The event will feature MNDDC Format Freestyle and Catch 22. Watch for details as they become available on our forum. |
